	Chief --- REZNIK, Nikolay Ivanovich, Col-Gen, (Vremya Novostey, 3 Sep 02; promoted to Col-Gen, Profil, 30 Jun 03). ["Reznik was born in Stavropol Kray on 30 June 1948. He graduated from the Novosibirsk Higher Military-Political Institute and the Military-Political Academy imeni V.I. Lenin. He served in various positions in the Transbaykal and Odessa military districts, in the group of Soviet forces in Germany, and in the Main Personnel Directorate of the RF Defense Ministry. He worked on the staff of the Security Council of the Russian Federation from March 1997 to February 2000 and later became the first deputy chief of the Main Personnel Directorate of the RF Defense Ministry. He was appointed to head the Main Directorate for Indoctrinational Work of the RF Armed Forces by an RF presidential edict of 22 June 2002. He is a doctor of political sciences and a candidate of economic sciences" (Armeyskiy Sbornik, Jun 03).
