Marine Corps Doctrine Publications (MCDPs)
Marine Corps Doctrine Publications (MCDPs) are higher order doctrine containing the philosophical underpinnings of the Marine Corps fundamental beliefs of warfighting will be published as MCDP's. When promulgated, MCDP's will supersede selected FMFM's.
Marine Corps Warfighting Publications (MCWPs)
Publications promulgated as Marine Corps Warfighting Publications (MCWPs) contain the tactics, techniques, and procedures utilized by the Marine Corps in the prosecution of war or other assigned missions. When promulgated, MCWP's will supersede selected FMFM's and OH's.
