Lin-k'ou
25°13"N 121°35'E

Since their introduction in 1996, Patriot missiles have been deployed in Nankang, Linkou, and Wanli to protect Taipei from missile attacks from the mainland [there are two towns named "Lin-k'ou" near Taipei, and the one that is the site of the Patriot battery is probably the one that is located near the Sky Bow I battery at San-chih at 25°16'N 121°30'E]. Taiwan will test the US-made Patriot missiles in the middle of the year 2000 at Chiupeng missile base in Pingtung.
