In order to get inside of the enemy’s decision loop, the UAV must be manned or controlled by the appropriate personnel. The skills and experience of these personnel greatly effect the UAV’s ability to support a mission. NSAWC has proposed three types of UAV Tactical commanders that control the UAV based on the mission being supported.
The Recce, Integrated Warfighter, and Engaged Warfighter.
