Commander’s Intelligence Requirements
- Each Level of Command has its own unique, time sensitive, critical intelligence requirements
- Driven by
- Different missions and associated tasks
- Different terrain considerations
- Different equipment capabilities/ vulnerabilities
- Useful combat information is perishable
- A dynamic, thinking enemy will act and react
- At Theater level 24 hours may be good enough
- At Battalion level 15 minutes may be too old
