This ASCII text file provides a summary of the contents of the file IRAN_1.EXE. IRAN_1.EXE is a self-executing, compressed file containing a 2.5 MB ASCII text file for Volume 1 of the Final Report of the Independent Counsel for Iran/Contra Matters. To decompress the file IRAN_1.EXE, download the file into a subdirectory on your hard disk with at least 3.5 MB of free hard disk space. Then type IRAN_1 <enter>.
The decompressed file will contain only Volume 1 of the report. Volume 2 and Volume 3 were printed from original exhibit materials, and no electronic text file was created.
