• Bin Laden film leak was referred to Justice; leaker top Obama official by Marisa Taylor and Jonathan S. Landay, McClatchy Newspapers, December 17. "Pentagon investigators concluded that a senior Defense Department official who's been mentioned as a possible candidate to be the next CIA director leaked restricted information to the makers of an acclaimed film about the hunt for Osama bin Laden, and referred the case to the Justice Department, according to knowledgeable U.S. officials."
• Feinstein Statement on CIA Detention, Interrogation Report, news release, December 13. "The report uncovers startling details about the CIA detention and interrogation program and raises critical questions about intelligence operations and oversight."
• Statement of Sen. McCain on CIA Detention, Interrogation Report, December 13. "It is my sincerest hope that we Americans, for all of our many disagreements, can nonetheless manage to agree that torture of the kind described in this report is unworthy of our national honor and should no longer be a matter for discussion."
