The Government of Pakistan has requested the UN Secretary-General to bring to the attention of the UN Security Council and the General Assembly the Indian-sponsored acts of cross border terrorism that constitute a blatant violation of the principles of the United Nations Charter.
In a letter addressed today to the UN Secretary-General by the Charge d'Affaires of Pakistan Permanent Mission to the United Nations, it has been conveyed that the recent bomb blast in Sukhur and bombing of trains at Pattoki and Lahore were planned and executed by Indian Intelligence and were part of an ever-widening campaign aimed at disrupting communication network and to disturb normal life in various parts of Pakistan.
It has also been conveyed in the letter that the Government of Pakistan has conclusive evidence of the involvement of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) of the Indian Intelligence in these terrorist operations.
Pakistan apprehends further intensification of such terrorist activities by India in the coming weeks.
The attention of the international community has been drawn to the Indian-sponsored acts of cross-border terrorism which are not only violation of all international norms proscribing international terrorism but also gravely undermine regional peace and security.
