The first Open Skies Treaty observation aircraft from the Russian Federation to overfly the U.S. will be available for static display and photo opportunities on Monday, August 4, from 9-10:30 a.m. at Hawthorne Aviation (North Service Rd., Dulles International Airport) Chantilly, Va.. Both U.S. and Russian flight team members will be present at this media day.
The Russian An-30 departed Dulles Airport on July 29 for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio, from where it conducted operations.
