This large Soviet rocket motor production plant near the city of Biysk, Russia, is one of several such facilities in the former USSR. The plant covers more than 7,700 acres. Propellants for solid rocket motors are mixed, case, and cured in different areas of this plant, and the motors are tested at nearby horizontal test positions.
