68TH INTELLIGENCE SQUADRON


1. Mission. The 68th Intelligence Squadron (68 IS) provides command and control services that seek to deny, negate, and turn to friendly advantage an adversary's effort to destroy, disrupt and deny information to US allied or coalition command and control systems. The unit assists in integrating and conducting information operations that shape the international security environment and, when necessary, the battlespace.

2. Command. The 68 IS is a subordinate component to the 67th Intelligence Group (67 IG). The 67 IG is the primary Continental US (CONUS) component of the 67th Intelligence Wing (67 IW).

3. Responsibilities: The 68 IS :

3.1. Conducts telecommunications monitoring assessments and electronic security surveys.

3.2. Maintains communications security assessments capabilities in a deployable status.

3.3. Researches and analyzes telecommunications-related data to develop case files on existing or potential communications security requirements.

3.4. Maintains mobility personnel and equipment in a state of readiness for deployments.

3.5. Provides assistance and support to the 710th Intelligence Flight.
