President Clinton visited CIA headquarters on Friday
July 14, 1995. The President gave a major speech
about intelligence to an audience of intelligence
officers and invited guests. During his visit, he
also paid tribute to intelligence officers who have
given their lives for their country by laying a wreath
at the memorial wall in the Agency's lobby. During
his visit the President met with Director of Central
Intelligence John Deutch and senior CIA managers and
was briefed on several intelligence issues.
