Dear Mr. Aftergood:

This responds to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request dated
July 7, 2014, for the "number of 'crimes reports' concerning unauthorized
disclosures of classified information that have been received by
the Department each year since January 1, 2009".

We have conducted a search of the Counterespionage Section (CES) of the
National Security Division (NSD).  The chart containing this information
is classified and therefore, exempt from disclosure pursuant to
5 U.S.C. 552(b)(1).  However, CES has compiled the numbers which are
unclassified.

Please note, CES has compiled these numbers on a Calendar Year basis, as
your request specified.
